Easy Tandoori Chicken


Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken- 1 kg
  • Yogurt (plain and whipped) - 1 cup
  • Lemon juice- 4-5 tbs
  • Butter or ghee or oil- 1/2 cup
  • Tandoori chicken spices- 2 - 3 tbs
  • Ginger paste- 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste- 2 tsp

Preparation:

  1. Wash and cut the chicken well. 
  2. Take a bowl and mix the yogurt, lemon juice, tandoori spices, ginger and garlic. Mix them all with a spoon. 
  3. Now marinade the chicken with the yogurt mixture for 4- 5 hours or overnight. 
  4. Preheat the oven at 375 F or 190 C. Arrange the chicken pieces on a foil pan and pour the ghee or oil on top. Now cook them on oven for 20-30 minutes. 
  5. Serve the chicken with cucumber fresh salad :)

  2. You can arrange everything with little oil on a heavy pan and cook them on stove. Though I never tried it. But I think it can be cooked this way as well.
