Spicy Piaju



Ingredients:

  • Orange lentils- 1 cup
  • Chopped onions- 1 cup
  • Chopped green chillies- 6-8
  • Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger paste- 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Salt- To taste
  • Oil- 1 cup  

Direction:

  1. Wash the lentils and soak them for 3-4 hours or overnight. 
  2. Drain the water and put them on food processor and blend them well with little water. 
  3. Now take out the lentils mix and add the chillies, onions, ginger, garlic, chilli, turmeric and salt. Mix them well with a wooden spoon. 
  4. Take a shallow pan and heat the oil. Now Take a small spoon and scoop the lentils mix. Slowly fry them in batches. 
  5. Serve the piaju with your favorite sauce :)
